Learn to crochet your own granny stitch top! We will be using the Maria Top pattern by Originally Lovely. This is a fun and simple design that is worked seamlessly from the top down. A great introduction into garment crocheting!

Five classes total
Time: 6:00-7:30pm

Cost: $150 per participant total for 5 week session. Participants will need to purchase yarn and crochet hooks prior to first class.

About the Class:
This course will take you through crocheting a top from the top down. Each week will focus on a different part of the garment. This is considered an advanced-beginner/intermediate course. Basic knowledge of crochet stitches (single crochet, double crochet, chain stitch, slip stitch) and crocheting tension is recommended.
***This class will require work outside of the class to be ready for the next step each week
Class Schedule:
Week 1 (5/19): Stitch review, crocheting the collar
Week 2 (5/26): Crocheting the Yoke
Week 3 (6/2): Crocheting the Body
No Class 6/9 (work on shirt length outside of class)
Week 4 (6/16): Crocheting the Sleeves
Week 5 (6/23): Finishing and Blocking
Materials: Yarn amount for your size top listed in pattern, crochet hook
Pattern: The Maria Top by Originally Lovely (included in class purchase)
Crochet Hooks: Size G/6 (4.0mm) hook
Yarn: DK weight 3 yarn or Worsted weight 4 yarn in the quantity provided by the pattern for your size.
